A project of goodwill
When asked if he (Stefan) was happy about the birthday present, he replied: "I have a really, really wonderful wife who knew exactly that I'd wanted a small 500 to restore for ages! ...Well, it could have been in a bit better shape." The biggest problems: the rotten sheet metal parts that couldn't be replaced with new reproduction parts! Or the not-so-great gaps in the doors! But luckily, our father was there, another old-school mechanic, who quickly got all the problem areas under control!
